Our Under 12s took part in a fantastic tournament at Sutton Valance this weekend! 🏑🔥
Facing strong opposition from Sittingbourne, BBHC, Maidstone and Sutton Valance, the squad delivered a brilliant all-round performance — finishing with 1 win, 2 draws and 2 very close losses. 💪
Every single player showed fantastic teamwork and an outstanding attitude throughout the tournament. 👏
🛡️ George, Oscar and Albie were rock solid in defence, making some superb tackles.
⭐ Jack, Billy and Emelie showed excellent leadership, stepping up to support the younger players.
🧤 Ben made some outstanding saves in goal.
⚡ Jacob, Ariya and Lewis worked tirelessly, covering all over the pitch, showing great passing and giving 100% from start to finish!

“I was blown away by the quality of Anchorians’ play on Sunday. For many of our players, it was their first games against other clubs, and they showed true Anchorians spirit.”

Our Under 8s took part in their first hockey tournament this weekend at Sutton Valance. 🏑
Playing against strong opposition, the focus throughout the day was simple — enjoying the experience, working positively together and developing as a team. 💙🤝
🛡️ Alfie and Jiya worked hard in defence, making several important goal-line clearances.
⭐ Bella scored our goal and impressed in midfield with her passing and awareness.
✨ Max and Jayan linked up well, showing great teamwork and a consistently positive Anchorians attitude.
👏 All of the players showed excellent energy, supported each other throughout, and grew in confidence with every game. There were strong tackles, good passing moves and plenty of encouragement from teammates.

“It was all about having fun and enjoying the experience — and the team did exactly that. The effort and teamwork were fantastic, and they learned so much with every match.”
